Jerry,
Because you make real contributions here (and at hunterbishop.com) in your own name, I am compelled to give you an honest reply.
In doing so, I reveal my own hand and may cause one or two red faces.
Your frustration is easy to grasp and you ask, 'who'?
It seems you recognize the need for a member who respects others and can be counted on for civil conduct. This is a legitimate need and IMHO eliminates Safarik for sure, and, IMHO the same would apply to Gumapac.
Do you want someone who has proven they can operate and progress within the processes of County Government? That eliminates Gumapac and Kanimika-Stocksdale.
My vote is going to Naeole. Why? Because she did the right thing on the largest issue this Council term has faced -- she voted no to the so-called 'waste-to-energy' proposal. I promised myself -- not her -- that she earned my vote. So be it.
If you can't vote for Naeole, vote for Joseph.
