Our Councilwoman in the news - again
#13
It's true that Angel Pilago has a very long track record working for worthy causes here on the BI and it's hard to compete with that. I'm just impressed when I see people with a history of working on important issues and otherwise contributing to the community before they became candidates. I personally can't site any court cases or legislation initiated by Kale Gumapac, but I do know that he has accomplished a lot with the Kanaka Council. IMHO it's a pretty big deal to be able to get diverse groups and individuals together to work on issues and get things done. I don't agree with every single position the K.C. has taken, especially their opposition to the waiawi biocontrol, but all told, they've done some good things. I think Kale is pretty sharp and I've noticed he does his homework.
