In a thread celebrating the right of women to vote, it is suggested that some people should be discouraged from voting, that others have no idea what they're voting on. Exactly the arguments used against giving women the vote pre-1920.
The constitution would have little value if it wasn't changeable, it was designed to keep up with the times, to reflect changing values and priorities.
PS Women are more likely to vote for stricter gun control. Oh the irony.
