Many of us followed with interest the thread that began as Pizza-Hut-In-Keau then morphed into the Costco-in-Keaau rumor. it sucked me right in! Now check out the front page of the Tribune Herald this morning, "Making Way for Shops: Keaau Work is Clearing Area for New Businesses". Nary a mention of Costco. You “Costco speculators” had me all excited then…pau? Guess only time will tell. What’s so scary is how these rumors take on a life of their own. (I blame it all on the guy grading the property…he seemed like such a credible source of information at the time 
Think I need another fun rumor to go with my coffee in the morning. Any juicy new rumors we can start?
To quote Neil Young, "Don't let it bring you down, it's only Costco yearning" or something like that. Hey, Puna is just as wonderful – some might argue even more wonderful – without Costco mucking up our traffic. Still…was looking forward to not visiting Kona anymore…
