I would ship new and fairly new cars from the mainland, but I don't think you will save much by shipping an older car. I agree with the others, I don't think anyone but the dealerships will give you a warranty on used cars here, and even those will give you only a limited and short-term warranty. I wouldn't buy a car sight unseen either.
