I'm not blasting you, but I've never heard of self-cultivating marijuana. All gardening for crops is work, especially in a climate full of bugs, fungus, and other challenges.

People do something where they risk going to jail. Risk vs Reward. It's a high risk occupation and pays more.

If everyone had the right to grow their own, without the medical component, then there would be less demand. But there are always people who want someone else to be the farmer, whether it's oranges, apples, or pakalolo.

My point being, why is considered not lazy to be a papaya farmer, but you are a lazy do-nothing if you farm cannabis? Cannabis is practically a science these days. It's gotten so technical I would be daunted to try and produce it for sale, even if it were legal!

Here’s why.
To grow weed is illegal.
Therefore the profit is made on taking the risk to grow it not on the hard work to cultivate and harvest.
Papaya’s $6.00/lbs…Weed $4,000.00/lbs.
Ya’ pretty much plant the weed do very little work to raise the plant.
Then go cut it down, dry it in your garage, and sell it to the neighborhood children.
That's why[8]
