Tokyo-Kona Japan Air Flight Axed

The Big Island's only international flight is being discontinued later this year by Japan Airlines. JAL is in bankruptcy and is eliminating a number of money-losing international flights. Depending on how many of the passengers are willing to make connecting flights and whether another airline picks up the route, this could have a negative effect on our island economy.
