the fun part about this thread is considering the change in perspective from not so long ago when we were all discussing the potential of a lava flow crossing highway 130. well it's a fact, all those people moving into puna need places to spend their money, and there's enough people with enough money that the businesses surely would be jockeying to be in position to be taking it. and nope, the cutesy rundown plantation town look aint gonna last. remember keeau, and all the effort to save a few of them run down plantation town type buildings? wasn't mcducks gonna build to blend in? the bottom line is we're gonna get more highways, and get more stores, so everyone can come and go and get more more more.. well at least until the next time the mountain decides otherwise
