Attic ventilation and insulation

We have a gable end solar vent (if you have gable end attic space...) that was fairly easy to put in (no through the roof stuff!)

We also added reflectix attic radiation barrier to all of the attic (have weird suspended ceiling, so popping in & out was fairly easy....) The radiation barrier really helped... could feel the difference as we were installing... almost like putting up an umbrella....

Newer roof metal from HPM is treated with a radiation barrier topcoat... also good for reducing attic temps...
