Yes, vog has been bad in lower Puna for a couple of days & will be bad possibly until Sat when the trades return. I monitor several sites:

It showed 545PPB SO2 in Hilo yesterday afternoon. Each site has different readings, so I take an average. I also pay attention to the wind direction & speed which can clear out vog before the monitors can record & report it. I'm off to Kau where the air is clear today.[]
