The ultimate irony for those of you who admire Cuba's medical care system is that none of you seem eager to move there and enjoy it. Why is that? Why do people, even non-political types, risk their lives every day to get out? Could it be that almost every other aspect of life in Cuba is on the point of destitution because of the failed economic model? And like I said earlier, most of us would end up in the gulag for speaking against the repressive government. I'm not necessarily saying that the Cuban medical system is bad. It's just that they pay a truly terrible price for it.
