Bloggers can write as if it's:

1. A letter to the editor
2. Reporter/Journalist
3. Op Ed writer

There is no one definition that fits a blogger, it's the manner in which they write the piece. So if it's just table talk, it’s a letter to the editor. If it's a journalistic opinion, it's an Op Ed piece. If it's non bias reporting, it's a reporter/journalist. Blogger is what they do; the writings define what they are.
