best dehumidifiers? What kind? Where?

At our elevation we are installing an efficient woodburning iron stove for use in the evenings and during several-week-long rainy periods in hopes this stove will dehumidify the airspace somewhat. I'll let you know next year whether or not the outcome matches the theory.

In a clothes closet we have a dehumidifier on the plans and have been told the best units (perhaps surprisingly) come from Sears. If anyone knows otherwise then I'd be interested the make and model you have had good results with in your clothes closet.
