I pretty sure the punishment will be a fine rather than jail time. It's a lot easier to give out $300 tickets than send people to jail.

Personally, I will never understand the need to constantly talk on the phone while driving. What is so important that can't wait 20 minutes or so?

Maybe I am just old, but it use to be that one of the great things about getting out of the house was being away from the phone.
