HPP Special BOD Meeting Tuesday, May 5th at 6pm
#74
"The roads currently bid were to honor an ethical/ moral commitment and while they do not necessarily meet the criteria stated on page 6 of the Private Placement Memorandum, they are not compromising to HPPOA at this point."- - -Jeff Spaur

Jeff, can you clarify this? I know that 16th, to name one road currently being bid, has been on and off the list several times. When I asked about it at the last General Membership meeting, I was told by at least two Board members present (not you) that it was back on the list at the request of the road maintenance manager. Previously I had been told at various times that it was being paved as part of an evenly spaced grid or that it was to enable easy access for members to the headquarters complex. Thus the status of 16th and the accompanying rationales have shifted over time. The only thing I am pretty certain of is that it is likely NOT one of the most expensive to maintain.

To whom was the ethical/moral commitment made? Is it contractual? What other commitments have been made? Will this commitment compromise us at some future point. I'm sorry if these questions sound negative, but I think they are reasonable.

Cheers,
Jerry
