Even if sexual preference was a choice (and I'm not saying it is or isn't)
then that's still not a reason to treat gays differently. What if there
was a law saying only Protestants can marry, would that be fair?
By all means, don't call it marriage if that's too much of a problem,
just give all consenting adults the same rights if they choose to
form a partnership. What's so special about heterosexuals, apart
from them being the majority?
