HPP.... fifty years ago today

There are still people living in tents in here, some of them while building and others semi-permanently. Of course, both are technically illegal and probably unwise from a sanitation standpoint unless they have port-a-johns or composting toilets. This being Puna, though, the chances of enforcement are slim unless someone makes a report, and I would wonder even then.
