can sheep and pineapple coexist?

I just kept asking everyone I met who had anything to do with sheep and finally talked to somebody who had had both sheep and pineapples. He said the sheep had no interest in the pineapple fruits or plants, they just grazed up to and around them.

Now I need to figure out how to go about exposing my dogs to sheep to see if they can coexist with the sheep. My puppies are 6 months old poi dogs with a good amount of blue heeler in them, so I think they would be more inclined to herd than attack, and my bigger dog is a two year old rescue dog who is highly self employed as a guard dog. She could decide they are part of her responsibility or that they are a threat, I just don't know. I sure don't want to bring home a couple of sheep just to be terrorized. I want them to be my weed eaters for the back 2/3 of my acre. I figure I will cross fence into two 1/3 acre paddocks with electric fence so I can rotate grazing areas, and keep my ornamental and food garden plants on the front third.
