The Lack- My family has been in Vallejo for five generations. I've seen Gentleman Jim's. With a two-year-old and a 2 month old, you can imagine I don't go out much though. I'll definitely check punaonline for more info on the moving process. There really is a lot of great information on this forum. Glad I found it.
Carey- Thanks so much for your post. I remember when I lived there some years back all my books got warped and mildewed. I have a lot of those airtight containers in my basement. Those will come with us for sure. I'm keeping a mental list of all my furniture and things to sell...rugs, washer/dryer, fridge. Thinkin I'll start putting craigslist ads out in December or so. I'm going to sell some clothes, shoes and winter coats at some buy/sell/trade stores. It will feel good to lighten our load. It's funny how we spend so many years accumulating stuff and end up feeling so weighed down by it. Aloha.
