Baring such drastic measures, I believe, since they (the helicopter company) make money by disturbing us they should have to pay a percentage of their income to every property owner they impact. You might say they should pay royalties to us. I use this model because I make my living from people using things (photographic images) of mine, for their purposes, and do so under license from me, and pay me a percentage of their income for having the right to do so. I have never understood our laws with regards helicopter. They seem to be treated by the government as gods, with rights far beyond those afforded other businesses. I have never seen any complaint go anywhere, except once, when Citizens Against Noise (in the Volcano area) were able to cause one helicopter company that flew out of the Volcano Golf Course area to shut down and move to the Hilo airport. The only advise I have Kimo, is take a deep breath! Because without an incredible amount of energy, that most citizens will not back up, you are just going to get worked up over this and will not get satisfaction in the end regardless.
