dehydrated fruit and veggies

I live in Hilo Asly, where it is plenty humid, but not as bad as inland areas. I have done some dehydrating and if you cryovac immediately after drying it stays dry. The actual dehydrating process may take a little longer and it is best if you use really thin slices. You could bring cryovaced dried fruit to the mainland but not fresh fruit.
