hawaii gun control laws

I've been staying out of this as arguing gun rights in Hawaii, is like trying to teach a pig to sing, it wastes your time and irritates the pig. However there is a lot of blame the guns for the crimes going on. I would point to 2 countries where there is a gun in EVERY home, required by law, where violent crime rates are very low "IE, Israel, and Switzerland". I would therefore ask, since these evil firearms are present, and in fact are fully automatic weapons, why do these countries not suffer from a huge incidence of violent crimes? If in fact the correlation of guns to violent crime is true?
