Mobi internet
#12
Force, you were right about Verizon - no dice. I was going to try AT&T but I've been told they use the exact same tower near H130. I live in HPP at the bottom of Makuu and I get 0 bars, yet people on Kaloli Point get good reception.

I asked Verizon three times if I would get my money back if it didn't work out, three times they assured me I would. Of course, they are now trying to charge me the full rate for internet access for a week even though I couldn't get a connection. So if anyone wants to try out the Verizon Mobile Broadband be sure to take it back as soon as possible (if it doesn't work) because the meter starts running as soon as you're out the door.

Or better yet, try Mobi first, there's a lot less hassle, they can give you a test dongle in seconds (Verizon runs a credit check etc, takes close to an hour) and they're cheaper.

Back to Dialup!
