sandy, thank you for your comments. this is exactly what my plumber told me, and i tried to relay to stillhope, or any new builders. i got one rather mean comment ("hire a real plumber"). but i only respect my plumber for telling me this. i dont want to constantly be fiddling with the thing. two of my good friends went instant, loved it cause the husband could always run out and do "something", then he went to the mainland and she was stuck. i also went regular tank....[
