I have lived in communities with a large police force stopping just about anyone and checking their ID, example Rohnert Park. Like i said be careful for what you wish for. If you want a community with more cops with 9mm's roaming around checking everyone out you may be in for a rude awakening as to what safety means.
Yes the guy in Rohnert Park was drunk, everyone one i talked to believes it was handled very poorly, but then how often are police held responsible for their actions, i believe here as well as most of the country they are investigated by their supervisors, piers,it's a well know fact that many police police will lie on the witness stand and evidence dissapears.
beingdrunk in public may be a crime punishable by death, i guess it's no longer a night in the drunk tank and your day in court, in some communities
