Way to keep dodging the topic. Everyone at Copenhagen is there to punish the US. So in some way, ya, it affects Puna. Still not a single comment about what is happening there, only those trying to disarm any argument by attacking the "Prince Charles" angle, which was just a cute way to introduce the topic. Apparently, nobody really cares about the environment.
First, they are attempting to create carbon taxes to punish industrialized countries (USA), who already regulate pollution from manufacturing, while NOT imposing global carbon taxes on countries like China. So in the end, manufacturing costs will go up in USA, factory jobs will move to China (which has little or no environmental regulation), and in the end we will have more global pollution, less jobs, higher costs.
Brilliant.
And to top it off, along with prices of everything going up, energy is likely to double or triple (per Obama's own admission). Just a ruse to fill the pockets of scraggly professors, inane organizations, Al Gore, and his friends.
