I first learned that there's enough geothermal in the Big Island to power the whole state in PW and now everybody'saying it. It was even in the the recent Hawaii Business article so what's the problem- i believe it's the prohibitive cost of transmission even to the kona side if I understood the article. But think about it- the Puna side should have the cheapest electricity in the state especially with cap&trade! And when they pass the Akaka bill we could invite Prince Charles to be the King the of the sovereign State of Puna. And when they pass C&T electricity going be so expensive on Oahu everybody gotta move to Puna!
