So, ultimately, and I know that I will be slammed for this, the cowardly person who dropped off this poor animal gave it a chance. Thanks to Kani, the dog is on it's way to newfound health and happiness. If it had been taken to the humane society, it would be dead now.

I don't condone dropping animals at all, but I have witnessed situations where it is not the worst option.

Sometimes it is hard for us, with our laptops and internet services, not to judge the actions of the chronicly impoverished. There are many here and their reality is one that we cannot imagine.
