Here's an issue for you Loren. The big box companies brought so many non-native plants in that the "overworked" ag inspectors didn't stop this invasive species. What about a county surcharge of two dollars for each imported plant brought onto the Island. It goes into a fund to irradiate coqui eggs making the male s sterile. then coquii (?) from those eggs will be released and produce no offspring. This has been done before in other circumstances, and there is probably some sort of mathmatical formula for how many would need to be released.
Either that, or someone needs to come up with a coqui cookbook.
