Thanks for the update obie. We now know Tiffany was late in updating her tax records and not a hardened criminal.
I was worried that I might have to vote for an unstable, violent, psychopath instead(no names mentioned, or needed). [

So where are all the "investigative reporters" at the Tribune Herald and BIC, etc. ?
Having coffee together perhaps.
"Nothing here, move along!"
Maybe with Tiffany paying, with campaign funds.. for the people she used to work with?
There will be NO story in the Tribune-Herald.
To the contrary, there is a front page article in today's paper. It is slightly tweaked toward Tiffany's position.

I will bet that the drama will not end on Punaweb in spite of this statement:
"Stan Sitko, Real Property Tax Division administrator, said the county’s goal is to get homeowners to update their status and a penalty won’t be issued for those who come into compliance."

Was it intentional? When you combine this with all the other resident/voter registration problems she was created, it would appear that it was intentional. She has committed voter fraud and residency fraud which are both very serious crimes and it appears she was very aware of what she was doing. Maybe not a "hardened criminal", but at least a criminal.

Per today's paper:
"Edwards wasn't aware the tax break was still in effect" Really, would you want someone representing you that paid so little attention to her own personal finances? "They are trying to drag me through the mud." Well she is blaming others for her own misconduct. "...she said she believes she has met the requirement 'at times' over the years as she has occasionally stayed there." Oh really occasionally equals 200 days a year, the requirement. Fuzzy math.
Other article: "Oahu group funds hopefuls" Guess what, Hunt was one of the three funded off island big money interests.
Too much controversy for me to feel comfortable voting for her. Either she's financially incompetant or she's milking the system in an unorthodox manner.

Maybe, there is a lot of mud around you, which is why the mud seems to always be so close to you.
Most politicians seem to become cheaters after they get elected, this one has had an early start for years.
Tiffany Edwards Hunt is NOT fit to be on the council.

Seems like ironic fair play after the long history of Tiffany using BIC to drag people through the mud.
I noticed long ago that Tiffany can dish it our but she can't take it.
Assume the best and ask questions.

Three great quotes from the article:
will not receive a formal ruling since it was filed after the June 10 deadline
Can't investigate, too much time has passed -- if this is the "policy", fine, all I ask is that the common folk receive the same consideration in their dealings with County government.
she believes she has met the requirement "at times" over the years
Again: if occasional compliance is all that's necessary, fine, I'll be glad to obey the laws and codes "at times" -- especially if these are future times that can be postponed, while I claim to be compliant today.
"I've never really been fully cognizant of the rules related to it."
This is exactly what we need in a candiate: someone who isn't cognizant of the rules.

Does anyone actually believe she didn't know she was "fudging the rules" on the exemption?

Meanwhile.........Sheryle "Sativa" Sultan and Roxanne Hampton declare a homeowners exemption for a home in Seaview. Roxanne Hampton claims to live there, according to voter registration records.
But the house is empty.
Sultan claims, according to voter registration records, to live in Kehena Beach Estates in a home that a woman named Pamela Moore declares a home exemption for.
