Obie, I hear you fought Tiffany on the commercial zoning issue about a business going in next store to her husbands store that Tiffany fought and won. So much for encouraging small businesses. Could you elaborate on what happened that day. I am going to order a DVD of the public's testimony and the council's discussions and deliberations on this issue. You could save me some time if you would tell me the date of the hearings.

Sativa,you will not find me in that video.
Also ,You have it backwards.It was Tiffany that got the development stopped and if I had fought her and won there would be another shop in Pahoa.

Obie, you still haven't given me the date? I know it was Tiffany who started the fight against a family to stop them from moving into a perfectly good house in Pahoa village so that they could start their business. As long as that building stayed vacant Tiffany had no competition and therefore no problem.

You flatter yourself, I don't want the video to pick out you. How is that possible? You could be a man or a woman how am I to know? I want the DVD to hear Tiffany's reasoning esp. since the house is sandwiched in between many commercial stores. Also TGIF and recycle centers are going into Pahoa why not another business? Why did she have to object? Was it for the benefit of the whole Pahoa Village or District 4? I need to see the DVD because right now it is all a mystery to me. I missed this one.

Obie,

Having just apologized for misreading a post, I'd like to chime in here. It seems to me that Sativa was suggesting that you fought Tiffany... she wanted to block the store that wanted to open up next to her, but your position was that it should be allowed. She won. You lost. No store. But I can see how you might have read her sentence a different way also.

A lesson on the power of punctuation:

Given this sentence...

"Woman without her man is nothing"

...a classroom of college students punctuated it in the following way (this is probably apocryphal, but clever nonetheless):

The men:

"Woman, without her man, is nothing."

The women:

"Woman: without her, man is nothing."

Ha Ha! Let's bring this into context;

Please punctuate the following;

RJ without her Sativa is nothing

Davinci, mahalo for the helpful lesson in punctuation. I have to admit I ain't no good at, grammar or punctuation and I know you know that yet somehow I make my point.
My new slogan is "why have sex when you can go to the punaweb and fu-- around"

Yet really I see it more as a school yard and the teacher just went inside.

Obie, What codes are being violated? As a retired Fire Protection Engineer who worked with both Building Codes and Fire Codes, I know the flammable liquid/compressed gas regulations. First of all it is the Fire Code that covers compressed gas storage and handling. So, if there is a violation, it has nothing to do with the Building Code. These tanks are obviously just setting there in storage. You don't even know if they are full. Tanks need to be stored upright, which these are. If empty, they are not required to be chained. Are they full, nobody really knows. I ask, do you have Propane and if so, are your tanks chained. BTW, small 5 gal tanks are not required to be chained so the one under the house is OK empty or full. And your comment about the tank under the house leaking and causing an explosion. This is only true if there is no ventilation as the code requires. I think it is obvious that the tank is well ventilated. WRT the big tank, it hardly is ever used so most likely it is empty. Do you really think that 2 women can man-handle a full 20 gal tank? I don't think so and that is why it is most likely empty. So much for your code violation belief. Again, please state the code sections that are being violated.

Algier, what do you do when the candidate just gives herself away? Remember or you can misremember, this all started at a Sunday forum at the Unitarian Universalist Church. The question was asked anonymously and Tiffany responded.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfImFAdY1_8&index=1&list=UUK3APkeeg2d9zISwnhfEbVA

I don't think Tiffany could even fathom the question asked and it threw her...it truly threw her. And like most deceivers, Tiffany told us way more than any of us needed to know. In Tiffany attempting to answer she is the one who mentions the home owners exemption on the Hilo house. What am I suppose do? Ignore it when it clearly came from her own lips and I immediately understood the ramifications of this revelation. Yet this pales in comparison to the voter fraud and rental fraud investigations that are just beginning because they don't need to wait until she is seated to start. It's already in motion. Should we start an new topic? We could call it the TEH election scandal. Too bad I don't have time right now.

Yet anyway, Algier ,so your reasoning is that we should start an investigation on everyone including all the other districts so it will be fair to Tiffany? Are you aware that investigations cost money so they should be based on verifiable documentation of the public records. Everyone has to see what we see and then it gets sent to the higher ups and that is the county clerk in this case.
