So Crelly somehow won, but Mizuba lost? That's odd, but am I correct in assuming that a new majority with a more transparent and sensible agenda will be in place?

Thanks Mermaid. I've been waiting. What a relief....finally. Lets hope the new majority does things right and there is no internal problems. They have the power.Let's see if they remove the cancer not just band aid it. It all needs to be removed for a fresh start. ASAP. Don't leave any chance or potential chance for more shenanigans. Professional management will eliminate a lot of burdens and problems. We can terminate the management company... then they are gone, we can negotiate and make demands. If they want our money they will perform.Sigh….(of relief)weill finally get that forensic analysis.

YES Chunkster! [Smile]

There was no master district list for each district in the elections to cross ref what was received against the master list. This is the checks and balances to ensure that all the returned ballots received for a district were truly from people from that district. In other words, any name could've been put on the ballots and no one would've known the difference. NO cross referencing....that's how an election "can be" rigged.

Rep Murdoch and the board were asked multiple times by the Nominating Committee prior to election day if a master district list had been created for that purpose. They received NO response. On ballot count day, rep Murdoch showed up w/out these lists and said they were at the HPP office. IMO he should've gone back to the office to get them before the counting phase began. Nanawale was clueless as they didn't get these lists last year either when they counted ballots for us.

All the ballots were colored except Dist6 ballots which were white and odd in itself. There are more than 4 colors available at printing companies. Something not right there...

People who paid their road fees didn't get ballots and 2 neighbors who live across the street from each other in Dist7 (no election in this district) received Dist2 ballots. ALL the ballots said "preferential" at the top even though there was no preferential voting this year. Preferential ballots are for districts who have over 2 candidates running. Add to all this mess, the board voted to qualify Crelly to run for Dist6 (conflict of interest) at the April board meeting when he was disqualified by the Nominating Committee at the March board meeting.

There was no owner input at the board meeting last night. Later, Crelly blamed the Nominating Committee for having put the lot and block number on the ballots which was completely FALSE. This info served absolutely no purpose and is personal candidate information. Rep Murdoch and the board were advised that they created a potential liability by adding that personal info on the ballots yet they wouldn't remove it. There are a lot of emails between rep Murdoch, the board and the NC to prove Crelly false.

Rep Murdoch resigned as secretary at last night's board meeting and said someone else will have to take over in creating the Membership Meeting Agenda for this Sunday. He said he put so much time into the election, he's done now. Ironically he wasn't supposed to be doing anything in the election except find a ballot counter organization, find a printing company to print the ballots, and mail off the ballots. He said the pres asked him to oversee the election which morphed into taking over the elections and the NC duties = unclean election.

Just to be clear....lot owners names were printed on the return ballots. But there were no checks and balances to match up those names against a district master list.

So what's the count now of those Board members working for the Association and those who work against it?
If the former are the majority, can they cast Crelly out because he was an illegal candidate?

Good question.

Some have talked about a recall on Crelly so there's that too.

I wonder what the Bylaws say about recalling someone who was disqualified before the Election even happened and was reinstated as a Nominee by the (Majority) Board and not the Nominating Committee. It shouldn’t be necessary to recall a disqualified Nominee, except some people on the Board just can’t seem to let go of power once they grab it.

Could not agree more Kenney. The new board directors really need to learn the bylaws and not waste time on such obvious things yet need to spend time actually listening to sound advice and not have the attitude they know better.Let the committees do their work and the directors stick to just our roads. I am fearful of what will happen after the after a brief Shangri-La. We already know how some already operate. Even the ones with what appears to be the best of intentions seem to forget us. Power and control are like a drug. Another excellent reason for professional management.

Katarina, I interpret Kenney's comments to be about the current majority board, not the new board coming in.

As for the new board, they haven't even been sworn in yet. I'm sure you understand there are a lot of things to deal with as there's been a lot of neglect with our roads and there's a lot of other business issues. Lots on their plate from the get go.

As for Crelly, members can bring up that issue to the board at the membership meeting tomorrow. The new board would have to take a look at the members concerns.
