Vote Republican

The money comes from the mainland!

I'm talking Hawaii politics, some other people seem to be under the impression that someone cares what their voting preferences are.

I don't care who you vote for. Just vote. It's so important.

Yeah Paul, Spending $500,000 for a local mayor's job only makes sense int he wrong way.
Assume the best and ask questions.

Did Billy *spend* $500,000 or *raise* $500,000? I seem to recall he spent closer to $90,000 to Kim's $9,000. There's no question that Billy's campaign had an obscene amount of cash available, but I'm guessing he stockpiled a bunch for his next step up the political ladder.

According to the HTH, Kenoi has spent almost $600,00 on his re-election campaign. The bulk of the money was spent on his initial campaign leading up to the primary.

The $90,000 + figure is from the primary to election day!

Dem/Rep ? relating to Hawaii.. is anyone else disgusted with Lingle's ad campaign? Shouldn't there be some truth in advertising?

Third party all the way! Actually, no party is even better. It's not about the party. Vote the individual who will best represent THE PEOPLE, not corporations.

Here's the ad she should run:
"I'm Linda Lingle. A Jewish woman who is a closeted lesbian. I believe minority rights should always be put to a popular vote because that has worked out so well for Jews, women, and lesbians in the past."

Now that would be truth in advertising.
