ya I have a couple down at 1,200 feet, I posted 3,000'+ because that is wide open land along hwy and easy for collecting seeds/cutting and its common right on side of road... its beautiful plant IMO

PS Andy thanks for info on endemic birds in lower areas, I may see one yet at my place in HA

save our indigenous and endemic Hawaiian Plants... learn about them, grow them, and plant them on your property, ....instead of all that invasive non-native garbage I see in most yards... aloha
