any allergists in the house?

Benedryl is very nice at night. Sudafed used to be great, but seems to have been reformulated (thanks, meth cookers).

None of that was working for me last year, though, and my doctor prescribed fluticasone nasal spray (aka Flonase). Had to use it every day for 8 weeks, cleared up my long-term cough. Still use it 2-3 times a month.

Lee: You can still get the "old" Sudafed if you go to the pharmacist and ask for it. They require a drivers license or state ID and log your purchase on the computer which is reported. You can only buy so much over a period of time - measure to thwart the cookers.

The same nasal spray that Lee used helped cure me from a cough that lingered over 3 months. I wasn't even aware that the cough was caused by allergies until the Dr. s
suggested that it might be.

Yeah, the fluticasone nasal spray works too.
