Last year I worked with Dr. Jim Kauahikaua at HVO to have the data for the steepest descent paths on Kilauea converted to a KMZ, which is a file that you can open in Google Earth. This will overlay the steepest descent paths over the map in Google Earth. Additionally, there are other overlays available from various sources which can highlight other features, such as the boundaries of previous flows, the lava hazard zones, etc...
