How to dispose of a huge couch

Put it by the road with a sign that says "Free" next to it. Someone will want it and take it (in our case, the last time we did this they even took the "free" sigh)

I had a big leather couch that was on its last legs, so I stripped off the leather and dismantled the innerds. Then off to the dump it went!
