The food truck is where the old Farmer's Market was. I asked and was told that Sal owns that part of the lot. The "truck" is jumbo sized with a total stainless steel interior. Nice and clean! The Rellano plate was delicious so we ordered 2 extra for later. (I ran into Sal at Malama yesterday and he had a huge bag of fresh peppers. He must have been cooking all night.) Sure have missed his cooking and all the Luquins Ohana. Can hardly wait til they open the "bar trailer". Pitchers of Margaritas under the tarps, Local Style! Pahoa feels more "whole" to me now.

That's all Pahoa needs is a walk up bar! On the other hand, when they open we will be one of the first in line after we order our food!!!

I'm glad Salvador is giving it a go.
I wish the best for him and his family.
