Birdmove.. hope you beat it. I'm only 52 but I anticipate plenty of problems over the next 10 years.. it runs in the family. Cancer..dementia.
I can't say I'm excited to grow old. We are raising a grandchild.. so I have that to keep me up at night... worrying about.

My Urologist told me to tell my son (32), my brother (73), and my nephew to ALL be sure they have the digital exam at 45 years old. No matter what the PSA level is. So, alaskyn66, that means you need to get that too. It runs in my family also. The digital exam, is nothing. Over in like 30 seconds. Now the biopsy, though needed in many cases, is no cake walk. I have a little 6, almost 7 year old grandaughter, that sees her grandpa all the time. I'd like to see her grow up.

Birdmove - Cancer thrives in acid environments - only eat non acidic fresh fruit n veg.Certified organic Non GMO.
Flush system daily with non acidic H20.A gallon or so a day.
Their are healers who know all the endemic plants, roots, herbs in our forests on island that are cures for all ailments known to humans.I will check with some friends in kamulela and get a list an post here.
If you are in H.A. we are neighbors .
Currently know 3 others in H.A. with stage 4 prostate cancer an totally have changed diet and also combo with chemo and the tumors have shrunk magnificently. There is a womyn near kapoho whose sole purpose is to raise all endemic plants that cure cancers an she has plenty. No phone though.
Cell phones also cause all kine cancers from the high levels of radiation they emit.If you have a cell phone toss it an get land line only.
Nothing processed,nothing carbonated.
Turmeric juice helps and roots from yellow ginger also help n also several types of dead fern leaves that grow in the forest, that you steep in non acid water for two days and drink half gallon a day and when pau put in a 80% shady rocky area for it to regrow .This fern is common in the forests in H.A. between the 800ft elevation n 2400ft elevation.
Will put our prayers to God for a successful recovery.

Aloha Mrs. Mimosa. As always, you generously offer your experience and wealth of knowledge. Mahalo.
Birdmove, Alaskn66, my heart goes out to you both with the challenges you face. Like my Daddy said "growing old is not for sissies." He too had surgery for Prostrate Ca. but Pneumonia ended his life, not Ca.
2 of my neighbor's (father and son) also went through prostrate Ca. years ago and chose to treat it with large quantities of Noni tea. It worked for them.
I'm wondering what you think about the benefits of Noni Mrs. Mimosa.
I too went through Ca. at the beginning of this century, so I understand your concerns and sleepless nights. I only had surgery and thank God, it was a slow grower and had not spread. I chose to refuse radiation because I had to work and the radiation schedule conflicted with work schedule. I did take hormone reducing drug for a short time. It became unnecessary when another illness and surgery ended hormone production.
When I was diagnosed Flax seeds were recommended to me as being beneficial in prostrate and breast Ca. I have eaten flax seeds (ground up in coffee grinder) every night for 15 years now with great benefits. Flax contains the highest (plant based) levels of alpha Linoleic acid. (Omega 3)
Maybe read up on flax and Noni and see if either or both might benefit you.
Meantime, keep the Faith. People are thinking about and praying for you both as you move towards improved health.

Dakine I am sorry to go off your original topic. I got swept away...
I am not familiar with the drug you're concerned about, but I have many young friends and relatives who have suffered with Endemetriosis and I do understand how debilitating it is. I hope the treatment gives you the results you're hoping for.
