Does everyone like podocarpus for a border plant?

I alternated three podacarpus with three sea hibiscus on a short section of my property border. My intention is to keep it all short, unless someone builds next to me. Then I already have something established that can get taller if I so choose.

We always wondered about that scenic point sign. Thought maybe it was referring to the steam vents in the area. I guess they could be considered "scenic".

Thanks for the viewpoint. Not really off topic; my Q on podocarpus in part related to the plant's characteristic of blocking out landscapes. Many viewpoints on this open topic.

Yes the stream vents area near the Opihikao turnoff (top of hill) used to be heavily visited. The area had a unique natural beauty 25 years ago. Not so much evident anymore with the overgrowth. (Are the vents still heavily visited? Think I saw a no trespassing sign a while back.)
