Spam, spam, spam, spam

Spam? Celebrity Luncheon Loaf is for us celebrities! The little bits of bone let you know it is made from real, er, something...

Why yes, Tom. I'll have spam, spam, spam, Spam sausage and spam, spam, spam. Have to eat the low sodium stuff now, but it still brings back the memories as a child having a spam sandwich with my Grand Pop. (And still better than the MRE's they have now,IMO. Occasionally dig out the mess kit and have grilled spam, but brings back another not so pleasant memory).

Synthetically produced artificial meat.

Actually it's nothing more than salted pork shoulder and ham.

salted pork shoulder and ham.

SPSH? Nope, the SPAM acronym works much better for the other 2 meanings.

Sack-N-Save Puainako carries the full selection of SPAM flavors.

Favorite recipe: slice the SPAM crosswise to make a filet, grill until crispy, melt some cheese over it, put between two slices of white bread. Best with teriyaki or garlic SPAM, but any flavor will do.

Sometimes the simplest is the best. I do that too.
SPAM is a guilty (or not so) guilty pleasure for some of us I'm sure.
Spent time at the flagship Hormel facility (among others) in MN that makes SPAM.
One could do far worse for quality, that's for sure.
Having SPAM and sliced Swiss sandwich for lunch today, sliced tomato and pickle on the side. Beer or two with.

But I don't like tomatoes or pickles, can I have spam and spam instead?

Incidentally, I've always wanted to try a Gordon Ramsay Beef Wellington, but while waiting I might just settle for Spam Wellington.

To get the full effect of "Spam Wellington" one must be watching "Keeping up Appearances" while consuming.
