Well last year they were babies and someone came and caught the momma and poppa. Then a few of the babies got caught, but these three are still around and bigger now.

Like I said I know they will be caught sooner or later, but I don't really wanna see it...I'm getting fond of them. They were all different colored babies too - brown with black stripes - a white one with black spots like a cow and some black ones.

Just think of braised baby back ribs dripping with bar-b-que sauce, the smell of sausage cooking in the morning and bacon sizzling in the frying pan and the pigs will look a lot different! There will always be more pigs, we can't eat them fast enough to keep them from destroying the native ecosystems but we can at least do our part. Especially when it tastes so good!
