Usually UPS and Fedex will hold a package sent to "General Delivery" and call you if there's a number on it. Although this last time my Fedex package from Amazon was doing loops until I called to have them hold it. (Really, I think they just left it in the receiving area and rescanned it every shift, since it kept "arriving" in Hilo!)

I just had a faster delivery for an obscure item, makes me wonder how big of a warehouse they have there on Oahu!

Amazon and FedEx are testing delivery bots. They can carry 100 pounds and climb stairs. The big questions for Puna though, does it look like they can handle the roads in Hawaiian Acres? And more importantly, can they be adaquately armed to protect themselves from thieves and other assorted dead end road riff raff?
