And I'm just as surprised that an every day citizen with no experience in Law, Politics, or Highway Management has been selected to be on this board, and will be attending his first meeting. [Wink]

I am happy that a little "joe blow" like me can have a say... and I hope that by me being on this task force will give more of a voice for all of you.

Meeting ended just now... I'll write more on my blog when I've got some energy.

About 20 people on the board.

One thing that they wanted us to sign was this charter....

And one of the rules stipulated was:

Guidelines 5.1 (Bullet 11)

*Not Disclose Confidential information about the project to the media.

Well I rose a stink about that.... and they agreed to take that clause out! [Big Grin]

*edit* Blog has now been updated with list of panel and more.

ABOUT ROUNDABOUTS and TRAFFIC CIRCLES....We had to use them a lot in Australia and Bermuda. They were in the cities and in the country and even though we had to drive on the wrong side of the road (to us anyway) we got used to them and appreciated them. Most of the time you zipped right through and even at the worst of times they were much more efficient than the bottlenecks we get at places like the Keaau bypass. I'm all for giving them a try here!
