Donna Duryea is the best realtor I have ever met, hands down- and I normally do not like realtors at all! She works a lot out of Hilo though and may be too busy selling houses to try and sell land. (low profit margin) But she's really really really good! If you are looking at expensive property, then she's your gal!

I highly recommend Wally Chastain who works for Aloha Coast Realty. He bent over backward to help us find our perfect Hawaii house. Over aspan of 5 weeks was diligently looking for just what we wanted and setting up showings. Fascinating and funny fellow!

Good advice if it's true (I'm not doubting it is) but what a lack of quality in RE agents here.
That's a hole in the market - become an RE agent that actually answers calls and makes an effort.
