New Blog
#11
I've now figured out how to activate the blog part of this site. There is a comment section that I will attempt to keep uncensored.

I've added a new cartoon without a caption. Please feel free to contribute.

Greg -

Email me if you'd like to be part of the FBI blogs and I'll send you the general info.

Looking good so far.

I'd like to steal that first cartoon when I do introduce your blog to either my site or the FBI Blogs if you'd let me.

I have to agree with Menehune I think that you used poor judgement with Good Friday coming up this week. Out of all the cartoons you could have chosen this one offends me.
Then to relate it to Charlie Brown I guess you don’t get it, eh?

Oh good grief Scott! I suppose you still cling to your guns too. You're so politically incorrect.

I don't get it... yeah right.

Don't you folks that are offended by this... Realize that Greg is a bit smarter then your average joe.

Do you think he just forgot that easter was coming up?

Get a grip... I think that's the best part about it.

Many cartoons are made to provoke thought and make people think about things.

His has obviously pushed the buttons of at least two people here on PW.

Brilliant Greg!

Folks just don't get it... pushing buttons is all about what some cartoons are about.

Think about the following statement:

"Any resemblence to people, living or dead, is purely intentional. All comments welcomed."

I've always felt a picture is worth a thousand words and Greg's cartoon is spot on.

Geez... I can only imagine the uproar that two of you would have had if he had released that cartoon on Easter Day or Good Friday.

The sensitivity of some on this forum is amazing... How can you make it to adulthood and not have been offended thousands of time?

Damon regularly offends me, but so what? I am sure I offend him often also, but that does not stop the dialog. He does not believe in a god, Greg may not ether, I don't know, but so what? That does not make there ideas or words less relevant or funny. If your mind is to closed to read or hear offensive things... the Internet is not for you.

Jon, I don't agree. I'm not offended easily and I wasn't offended by the cartoon. However, I thought it was insensitive and in poor taste. I wouldn't have posted but I think it's appropriate for those who are offended to voice their objections if they choose to. To belittle them for expressing their objections to what they feel is a slight to their faith is needless further offence. I see too much of an increasing pattern where it's acceptable to openly offend the religious beliefs of others but unacceptable to express religious beliefs, other than new age ones. Those that hold traditional religious beliefs have a right to be part of modern society too. Or are they now the ones that are supposed to hide in the closet?
