Talk Story with Fred Blas, Today at Nanawale
#11
Good call James! Talking at people for 3-5 minutes then mingling does not constitute answering questions. This soiree and the Big Island Weekly interview leave me with the idea that Fred cannot or will not reveal his position on issues.

Many want to refer to Emily and "her people of Puna" (the poor, the underpriveleged), but who are Fred's people of Puna? Who are the people that voted for him in the primary? What do they know that others do not? Why do they know while others do not?

Another aspect spoken of on this forum is that Fred is a man of few words! What?!? I've known Fred for six years, he never stops telling you about all the wonderful things he has done for Puna! His silence is very uncharacteristic and frankly looks as if there is something hidden or amiss.

Is it possible we have had an invasion of the body snatchers here in Puna? Everyone should start checking for pods!

@Whitey: His silence is very uncharacteristic and frankly looks as if there is something hidden or amiss.

ME: Perhaps someone has impressed upon him, sometimes less is more.

Whitey: Is it possible we have had an invasion of the body snatchers here in Puna? Everyone should start checking for pods!
ME: I heard the helicopter night before last! It was flying so low I know they were snatching something!

As to this statement: What do they know that others do not? Why do they know while others do not?

ME: A provocative statement indeed.
