Keen makes some pretty nice flip flops too. I like the toe bumpers on them.

almost all of the daylight hours.
If it is raining I am on the covered lanai.
I have my work tools out there and am much happier outdoors.
I own a laptop with glare resistance (macbook pro) screen so I can be outdoors while I am online.
That is why I moved here, not to be inside.

Out of the house all day except to get lunch , or during rain. I'm out in light rain, no problem. But heavier rain sends me indoors. So I work on my indoor projects at those times.
Among the many reasons for moving to Hawaii was to enjoy the weather and the land. Being able to be comfortably outdoors all day is a major plus. I shed many of my mainland habits when I came here. Now it's no TV, no computer games. I've taken up gardening. Book reading, sewing, surfing the web, and movie watching is reserved for nights or rainy times.
Bullwinkle,
My work table is outside : )

Slippahs
Windows down mostly, but even when up hardly ever use the AC, except when first getting into vehicle when leaving Costco.
Out of doors most of the day, unless raining
