New Christmas CD
#11
oh no, I found it on youtube. There are several videos people have done for this song (The Rebel Jesus) that do an excellent job of presenting images to go with the words, but I picked this one for really nailing it. [Smile]

Mahalo KathyH and Jennybee!

For the Christmas cd, (and my "Songs For A Dreamer" cd), I worked with a musical genius, named Al Thomas <althomasonline>. Great arranger/musician/recording engineer. I've been fortunate to work with great artists, throughout my career.

My new cd, (out this coming spring), features mostly guitars, playing slack key, classical, original Hawaiian Exotica, latin, zydeko, new age and a standard.

I very much enjoyed the Queens recording, as well. Really good stuff!

Well, someone must have liked the Divas; I had about 15 CD's stolen out of my truck. Sheesh.... hope they are enjoying the music. Had hoped to share it with a bunch of you. I hope some of you can at least listen on iTunes or Amazon or wherever. It's Queen Divas of the Universe: All Wrapped Up In Christmas.

We do have so many talented musicians right here on island. I would hope more would share availability of their own productions through Punaweb. It seems like a natural to me. We are all pretty social for the most part and what better to bring people together than good music?

As for the issue of shameless promotion? I am not ashamed to promote ANYTHING here on Punaweb that I enjoy or believe in. That is what we do here, right? Share interests, activities, problems and solutions? I was thrilled to hear Lee has a CD out; I never thought of looking until I saw that here.

I don't care what it is you DO... if you would like to share it I hope you will share it with all of us here at Punaweb. Now I am sure someone could think up a way to make this nasty or selfish or crude, but please don't bother. And just because I am not financially invested in my project, why shouldn't people be invested in projects or products they produce? That's kind of the point, isn't it? Glad for all the good thoughts in this thread. Wooooo Hoooo

hit the floor each morning, the devil says

"Oh Crap, She's up!"

wow, that is low, stealing Christmas CD's. Man.

Rob has made it clear that people are welcome to promote what they do here, as you said. Not an issue.

Well, I hope that whoever stole the music will spread it around, and somehow that exposure will lead to more people hearing it. I have never had CD's stolen, only CD players.

Hope the cd's make it home Pam - for me the violation of having some one mucking about in my space - much worse than loosing "stuff" imho
