Roundabout in Pahoa?
#21
...yet aNOTHer excellent point Wao nahele kane!

Paul?
Paul?
It's called figurative language.
Clearly I (and others) are trying to SAVE lives here.

We're the ones who politely wave you and other Punatics in on those rainy dangerous days when you're having a tough time merging.

You're welcome.

How should I picture this fight to the death?

Paul we have some tunnels in Hawaii and they relatively easy to make compared to doing it through dirt and or solid rock like granite etc. The crust type rock of lava is easy to put holes through and provides a semi sound structural support for the existng road above during excavation, they can be steel re-enforced and shotcreted in after the hole is punched through. There's one that was placed under the belt highway at Waikaloa on the Kona side.

Traffic can be routed around an accident on a roundabout, just like on any other road.
You may be surprised to learn that other countries have had them for decades and keep building more and more.

ETA: Thanks for the tunnel info, I didn't know that.

PaulW... clearly you don't live here and use the area as we do, otherwise you wouldn't consider guessing a month. I'll bet you within 2 days if even that, we'll see the first.

Well I do live here so you're wrong already.
You said multiple per day, so that would be 60 in the first month.

Paul, you don't live here and don't comprehend the dynamics as we who live here full time. You really have no clue what your talking about with regard to this issue, that's clear as clear can be.

This is fascinating, you're telling me things about myself that I don't even know.
No matter what your opinion is, that roundabout is coming.

malolo, a roundabout is safer than traffic lights and it's certainly safer than what we have now.
What you are trying to do, with your fear of change, is cause extra deaths, not prevent them.

I merge just fine, thank you. Another psychic who has lost his way, you should compare notes with Jungle Man.
